Real User Feedback
Pulled from GetApp, Trustpilot, Reddit, and G2. We're not making this up.
The credit system is incredibly frustrating. You run out mid-campaign, pay for top-ups at 50% markup, and then failed lookups don't get refunded. It's designed to drain your budget.
We needed 2 SDRs. Apollo requires 3-user minimum on Professional. So we paid for a phantom seat we didn't use. $4,284/yr before we sent a single email.
Data quality is really declining. We're getting 15–20% bounce rates on "verified" contacts, especially for European markets. Wasted a month of credit on bad data.
Credits expire at month end. No rollover. We had 8,000 credits sitting there on the 30th and had to race to use them or lose them. That's not a tool — that's a subscription trap.
The "unlimited" plan isn't unlimited. There's a 1M credit/year cap buried in the fine print. Hit it in month 9. Had to pay overages to finish Q4 campaigns.
Switched from Apollo after 18 months. The billing gotchas were just too much — non-refundable charges, contract lock-in, and support that ghosted us for a week on a billing dispute.
Why Teams Switch to Outscale
The problems Apollo users complain about most — Outscale solves by design.
$99/mo covers your entire team — unlimited seats, unlimited campaigns, unlimited follow-ups. The bill is the same every month.
Apollo burns credits on failed lookups, expired contacts, and overages. Outscale has no credit system. Run 1 campaign or 100. Same price.
Apollo uses template variables. Outscale reads each prospect's website, LinkedIn, and job signals to write a genuinely unique email — not spin syntax.
Upload your prospect list. Outscale generates emails, queues follow-ups at Day 3/7/14, and starts sending. No RevOps engineer required.
Every prospect gets a Day 3, Day 7, and Day 14 follow-up — each with unique content. Reply detected? Sequence cancels automatically.
Apollo's enterprise plans have annual contracts and cancellation friction. Outscale is month-to-month. Cancel in your account settings, no calls required.
